Dr. Kent J. Krach is board certified in both Dermatology and Mohs surgery. He received his undergraduate and medical school degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Krach originally trained in eye surgery before completing his residency in Dermatology at the University of Michigan where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Krach did two years of subspecialty training in Melanoma and completed a fellowship in Dermatopharmacology at the University of Michigan. He went on to complete his fellowship in Mohs Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Krach is widely published and has done both clinical and basic science research in dermatology. His primary interest is in cutaneous oncology.
Dr. Krach held a clinical faculty appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at Michigan State University. He is on the teaching faculty of the Dermatology Residency at Trinity Health in Ann Arbor where he has won multiple teacher of the year awards. He is also Program Director of the Mohs Surgery Fellowship Program at Trinity Health where he trains other doctors to be Mohs surgeons.
Dr. Krach has been named to numerous "Best Doctor" and "Top Doctor" lists, including the Hour Magazine of Detroit list for many consecutive years.
He is currently in clinical practice at the Midwest Skin Cancer Surgery Center in both Clinton Township and Trinity Health/St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
