Alison Himes, DO

Dr. Alison Himes is an Ohio native, from Elyria, Ohio.

She attended Ohio University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2003 with a Bachelor of Specialized Studies in Biological and Psychological Studies. In 2007 Dr. Himes received her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete a residency in Family Practice in 2010 at Doctors Hospital Family Practice in Columbus, Ohio. From there, she pursued additional training and completed her Dermatology residency at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio in 2013.

Dr. Himes is board certified by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. She joined Dermatologists of Greater Columbus in 2013, and is currently practicing in our Grove City and Upper Arlington offices.

Dr. Himes is devoted to the study and treatment of all dermatologic diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. She was trained in and has a passion for skin cancer detection and treatment, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. She strives to provide compassionate, high quality care for patients of all ages.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Himes enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
