Dr. Amanda Hill (Leach) is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated from Clarkston High School in 2005 and is thrilled to be back in Michigan practicing in her hometown. She specializes in medical and surgical dermatology including acne, rosacea, skin cancers, psoriasis, and eczema. She also enjoys cosmetic dermatology such as botulinum toxin, and dermal fillers. She loves seeing patients of all ages and addressing their dermatology needs.
Dr. Hill studied Nutritional Sciences with a specialization in Health Promotion and Bioethics and graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University. She obtained her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and was admitted to the AOA Honor Society (reserved for the top 5% of a medical school class). She completed her transitional internship year at the University of Chicago. She completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University, where she was elected as Chief Resident.
Dr. Hill also spent eight years in the United States Air Force. She was a flight surgeon at Beale Air Force Base in northern California where she cared for U2 pilots and their families. She then served as Chief of Dermatology at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. She completed her commitment to the Air Force in December 2022 and could not be happier to be back in Michigan.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and two golden retrievers. She loves northern Michigan and staying active with Peloton strength, yoga, and cycling classes.
