Caitlin began her studies at Miami University of Ohio where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from West Liberty University in 2015.
To start her career as a Physician Assistant, Caitlin first worked in Orthopedic Surgery. After about a year she moved back to her hometown, Perrysburg, where she worked in dermatology for 6 years. She developed a passion for taking care of the skin on patients of all ages, particularly treating psoriasis, eczema and other challenging cases. She enjoys educating patients on the importance of skin care and when to follow up for concerning lesions. While still an avid Ohio State fan, she recently joined Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center to continue providing compassionate care to those in the state up north. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and became a Diplomate through them.
In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys hiking the National Parks with her husband and their son. She can also be found running, playing squash and spending time with their two Labradoodle dogs. She volunteers for Special Olympics Ohio, acting as a Clinical Director for which she helps ensure athletes are healthy to participate and have access to the appropriate healthcare needed.
