Donna Lang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant. Her passion for the medical field began over 20 years ago while working in medical research at the University of Pittsburgh. During her time as a research study project coordinator, she felt drawn to become more involved in one-on-one patient care and decided to pursue a medical career.
Donna earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From the beginning of PA school, she knew she wanted to specialize in dermatology. She was fortunate to begin her dermatology training at The Ohio State University, where she was the first PA hired in their department. She thrived working alongside supervising physicians and medical residents in an academic dermatology setting. Donna later moved to Charlotte, NC, where she continued her passion for dermatology in a private practice for 12 years.
She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). While living overseas in Denmark, Donna also earned her certificate in integrative health coaching.
In her free time, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She also loves traveling, practicing yoga, watching football, and listening to live music.
