Johanna, or "Joh" as her friends and patients know her, graduated from Grand Valley State University and went on to practice primary care. During that time, she realized her love for dealing with skin and skin conditions.

Her surgical, general dermatology and cosmetic experience comes from intense on-the-job training. She has also taken many hours of specific classes to increase her knowledge and skills, including Botox injections, cosmetic filler injections, chemical peels and laser treatments. At DSSC, Johanna enjoys working with a team of great professionals on staff to help people with their skin.

She specializes in basal cell carcinoma surgery, biologics and topicals, Botox, dermal fillers and injectables, medical dermatology, melanoma, psoriasis, skin cancer and skin pigmentation.
