Karla Yanes, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. She provides comprehensive skin care services, including skin cancer screenings, acne treatment, eczema and psoriasis management, and aesthetic procedures.

Karla began her nursing career at Dayton Children’s Hospital, where she built a strong clinical foundation. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, where a clinical rotation sparked her passion for dermatology. She further advanced her expertise through specialized training under renowned dermatologist and Mohs surgeon Dr. Roger Moore at the Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in Elkhart, Indiana—an affiliate of DOCS Dermatology.

Karla now sees patients at the DOCS Dermatology Beavercreek, Ohio office, where she provides expert, patient-centered dermatologic care in collaboration with Dr. Bakos.
