Dr. Kim Beyer, DNP, FNP-C, DCNP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. She also holds certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP), demonstrating advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions.

Dr. Beyer began her medical career in 1991 as a Registered Nurse at Akron Children’s Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron in 2002 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2007, with a specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She later obtained post-master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Continuing her commitment to advanced education, Dr. Beyer earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2016.

With over 19 years of dermatology experience, Dr. Beyer joined the Fairlawn dermatology practice in 2008. She provides expert care for patients of all ages and skin types, treating a wide range of medical dermatologic conditions. Her clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, and skin cancer detection and treatment. She also offers advanced cosmetic dermatology procedures, including radiofrequency microneedling and CO₂ fractional laser skin resurfacing.

Dr. Beyer is known for her approachable and compassionate care. She prioritizes building strong patient relationships and delivers evidence-based, personalized treatment plans that are both holistic and collaborative.

Outside of the office, Dr. Beyer enjoys traveling, attending concerts, reading, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.
