Lauren Matthews, PA-C, specializes in dermatologic surgery, including the removal of skin cancer, cysts and lipomas on the trunk and extremities. She also has a strong interest in acne treatment. While her primary practice locations are our 7th Street and Matthews offices, you may also see her at other locations from time to time as she supports our team across the area.

Raised in Concord, NC, Lauren completed her undergraduate education at UNC Wilmington and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University. After graduation, she returned to Charlotte to begin her career in dermatology.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys beach and lake days, traveling, trying new restaurants, listening to live music, and spending time with her friends and family.
