Nancy Lynn Hogan, NP

Nancy Lynn Hogan, NP is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience providing expert, patient-centered care in the Miami Valley, Ohio area. She specializes in medical dermatology, including skin cancer screenings and treatment, eczema, acne, rosacea, warts, and various benign and precancerous skin conditions.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wright State University. She began her career as a Registered Nurse, gaining five years of hands-on clinical experience at Southview and Grandview Hospitals, where she worked in both the Medical-Surgical and Emergency Departments. She also provided home health care through Nurses Unlimited and volunteered as a school nurse at St. Albert the Great School.

Nancy returned to Wright State University to complete her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She began her advanced practice career in family medicine at Kaiser Family Practice, where she provided care in traditional clinical settings as well as in community-based environments, including Warren County Jail, Franklin Ridge Nursing Home, and Middletown City Jail, where she worked part-time for five years.

In 2001, Nancy transitioned into dermatology, where she found her passion for treating a wide range of skin conditions. She spent 18 years with Comprehensive Dermatology in Middletown and also provided women’s health exams at Planned Parenthood for four years. She joined Docs Dermatology to continue serving patients throughout Dayton and the greater Miami Valley. Committed to community health and prevention, Nancy has volunteered for many years during Skin Cancer Awareness Month, providing free skin cancer screenings in accordance with American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) guidelines.

Outside of her practice, Nancy enjoys time with her family. She has three children and five grandchildren. Her grandchildren bring her immense joy with their curiosity and energy. Nancy’s favorite getaway is Northern Michigan, where she enjoys Lake Michigan sunsets, fresh air, and crisp mornings. She is also an animal lover and shares her home with an older, mellow pug and a young, energetic Chihuahua.
