Dr. Neal T. Foley, M.D., is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Foley graduated from Northwestern University, where he received a B.A. in Biology, and the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago, IL.  He completed all of his surgical training at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, under Dr. Michael E. DeBakey. He did a five-year residency in general and vascular surgery, a two-year residency in thoracic surgery, and a one-year fellowship in cardiovascular surgery. After finishing this eight-year post-medical school residency, Dr. Foley was given a faculty appointment with the Department of Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine.
