Dr. Sharon S. Meyer received her B.S. (Cum Laude) at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge before leaving her hometown to study on full scholarship at Tulane Medical School, where she received her M.D. in 1986. She served her internship at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals, New Orleans. Dr. Meyer completed a one-year Fellowship in Clinical Dermatology Research before her residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Sharon S. Meyer is a past Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, Tulane University Medical School and has previously held the role of teacher and mentor as a Community Preceptor for Foundations in Medicine by having medical students ‘shadow’ her while she sees patients at her uptown New Orleans office.
