Dr. Orkwis specializes in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, with a focus on skincare and cosmetics. She is a certified expert injector by Allergan. Dr. Orkwis completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internal medicine internship at Lankenau Hospital, followed by a dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.

She is on the consulting staff at Beaumont Hospital in Troy and McLaren Macomb Hospital, and she teaches dermatology residents. Dr. Orkwis has authored numerous academic publications and holds an academic position at Michigan State University.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Dr. Orkwis is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She enjoys fitness, nutrition and staying current with health and beauty trends. Outside of work, she spends time with her family, traveling, cooking and enjoying the outdoors.
