Meet Dr. Katharine Saussy, an accomplished dermatologist and a proud native of New Orleans. Dr. Saussy is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Women’s Dermatologic Society, with expertise in medical, pediatric, surgical, cosmetic, and skincare. Her strong passion for sun safety is reflected in her practice, where she provides exceptional care to patients of all ages. But her love for her community goes beyond the clinic. Dr. Saussy volunteers by educating her community on sun safety through a program called School Sun Safe. She volunteers with Mary Bird Perkins providing free skin cancer screenings throughout Louisiana. She serves as the Auction Co-Chair for the American Cancer Society’s Annual Event, Shuck Cancer, which provides free transportation to those undergoing cancer treatment.
