Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Veremis-Ley completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University and medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH. As a leader in the field, she has won multiple awards throughout her academic, service, leadership and research training. She was honored with being selected as one of “America’s Top Dermatologists” in 2008, 2015, 2020, and 2023. She was also chosen as “Best Doctors 2015-2016."
In addition to seeing patients at the Midwest Center for Dermatology in Clinton Township, Dr. Veremis-Ley also sees patients at Spa43, where she performs aesthetic procedures as a cosmetic dermatologist, conducts clinical skincare research and sees clinical trial patients as the principal investigator at Michigan Center for Skin Care Research in Clinton Township.
Dr. Veremis-Ley is a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Department of Medicine (Dermatology). She is also on staff at McLaren Macomb Hospital and St. John Macomb – Oakland Hospital in Warren, MI. She is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, Michigan Dermatological Society, American Osteopathic Association and Michigan Osteopathic Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Veremis-Ley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, arranging fresh-cut flowers and music, traveling (especially to Greece to visit her family), pilates, and walking her dog, Cody.
