Randi is a 2009 graduate of Sherman High School and grew up in Whitesville, WV. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology with honors from the University of Charleston in 2013. Randi later attended Alderson Broaddus University, where she obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is an active Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. With eight years of experience in practice, Randi is deeply committed to her field.
Before pursuing professional medical training, Randi worked alongside researchers at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where she contributed to research on potential treatments for melanoma skin cancer.
Randi began her dermatology career in 2017, later transitioning to Emergency Medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. She returned to dermatology in 2021, serving patients in Logan and Hurricane, WV. In addition to her clinical work, Randi is an adjunct dermatology professor and preceptor for the Marshall University Physician Assistant Program.
Outside of work, Randi is very family-oriented and enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She loves traveling, reading suspense and thriller novels, cheering on Alabama football, going to the gym, beating her husband at Monopoly, and anything related to Dolly Parton.
